Summary Description
Provide assistance to all employees of the service department by enhancing efficiency, workflow, and other tasks as needed.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Helping Service Personnel
- Ability to accept and follow directions
- Help Service Department employees to run an efficient and customer-oriented department
- Assist Technicians with keeping the service department clean and organized
- Re-fill stock of oil or other supplies as needed
- Assist technicians, service consultants, and other service personnel as needed
- Service Department Support
- Responsible for moving bikes into the proper locations throughout Service Dept, Service Drive, and Warehouse
- Provide direct hands-on assistance and support to the Shop Foreman to enhance the efficiency and flow of work to the Service Technicians
- Responsible for obtaining and delivering parts and tools to the Service technicians in a timely manner to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the Service Operation
- Provide assistance and support to the Shop Foreman in the maintenance of the service department, including, but not limited to cleaning and assisting in the organization within the Service department
- Retrieve customer bikes upon pickup and conduct test rides as necessary
- Support and maintain a high degree of accuracy and completeness, timeliness, and repair assistance in support of the Service Technicians, Service Consultants, Shop Foreman, and Service Manager
- Wash Motorcycles. Ensure they are cleaner than when the customer dropped them off

Qualifications and Job Requirements
- Prefer knowledge and experience with Harley-Davidson motorcycles and other products sold and/or repaired by the dealership or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
- Current and Valid Motorcycle license
- Ability to accept and follow directions
- Demonstrated willingness to work flexible hours
Physical Requirements
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
- Routinely required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach and handle tools
- Routinely requires the ability to lift heavy material
- Routinely requires the ability to balance, push and ride 500+ lb motorcycles
Working Conditions
- Frequently works near moving mechanical parts
- Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department

Parts Specialist / Parts Counter Sales
We are one of the largest Harley-Davidson dealerships in Wisconsin. We have a busy and productive parts department and are seeking an ambitious and friendly full-time/year-round parts professional for the newly opened position. Very clean store with experienced co-workers, and contemporary work environment. We also have two winter storage facilities that hold over 800 motorcycles which provides the ability to produce work year round.
Responsibilities include selling correct parts to internal sales, service customers as well as retail customers. Must provide efficient and detailed parts information to a variety of motorcycle enthusiasts. We believe in going the extra mile to provide superior customer service. Must have mechanical aptitude and thrive in a fast paced environment. Must be able to relate to customers in a positive and professional manner. Willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude and aptitude.
